Take care of our
potted roses

The Kordana® potted rose loves plenty of light. Place the plant in the brightest spot possible in your home, preferably on a windowsill. It can tolerate full sunlight, except on extremely hot days. On those days, protect your roses by temporarily moving them.

When exposed to sunlight, these plants need a lot of water. In summer, this may mean watering them daily. In autumn and winter, twice a week is sufficient. The best approach is to add around three centimetres of water to the outer pot and empty it after fifteen minutes. This prevents the plant from becoming waterlogged, while ensuring it absorbs enough moisture.

Use indoors and outdoors

Has your potted rose finished blooming? Don’t throw it away! Remove the spent flowers and prune the plant back fully to 7cm. If you then plant it in a bright spot in your garden, it will grow and bloom beautifully again.

Even when newly purchased, you can place the potted rose in the garden or on the balcony. The Kordana® rose is a houseplant, but it also thrives outdoors. However, be mindful of frost, as potted roses are sensitive to it. In this case, bring the plant inside to add a cosy touch to your home!
